Since July 2025 also General Manager of Novamont, a leading company in the field of chemistry from renewable sources, with responsibility for the management of the company's operational, commercial and business development activities.
He joined Eni in 1995 holding various roles with increasing responsibility in R&D, technological development and project management, following design, implementation and start-up of industrial projects in different countries all around the world.
Between 2018 and 2020 general manager of Matrica, a start-up in the renewable chemicals sector.
Starting from 2021, he was Head of Research & Development at Versalis, supporting technological growth in all areas of business, including Styrenic Polymers, Polyethylene, Elastomers and Intermediates, giving an important contribution to the development of new technologies for the mechanical and chemical recycling of plastics.
Subsequently, as Head of Business Development Strategies, he oversaw the organic and inorganic development of the new platforms for downstream/compound, circularity and chemistry from renewable sources.
He is a member of the innovation committee of Cefic (association of European chemical companies).
He graduated in Chemical Engineering from Politecnico of Milan, and subsequently obtained a Master's degree in General Management from MIP/SDA Bocconi.
